Some shrubs will tolerate heavy pruning and spring back with beauty, others will require time in the ICU after catching just a glimpse of your tools, and some shrubs accept regular appropriate shearing.  Find out which ones are which, so you can plan your pruning for best results. Plants include butterfly bush, lavatera, heather, lavender, rockrose and witch hazel.

Taught by Anna Moore, former Board member and pruner extraordinaire!
