Connecting With Greater Seattle SCORE

Thursday May 30th 6 pm- 8pm

Whether you're a newly minted Horticulturalist or a well-seasoned one, we'd like to invite you to come and hear from Mr. Michael Ervick about strategies and resources available to you in starting or growing your existing business.
Mr. Ervick is a business consultant, graduate level adjunct professor at the University of Washington Bothell and Co-Chairman of Community Outreach and Engagement for the Seattle Chapter of SCORE!  Learn more about SCORE HERE.

About Mr. Ervick

Michael Ervick runs a small management consulting firm located in the Pacific Northwest, where he began practicing as a process consultant and project manager. Over the course of his career he became an accomplished expert in Process Theory, Project Management and Organizational Change Management.
Today, as a specialist in implementing the SATO Arc (Strategy, Architecture, Transformation and Operations) he serves as an executive advisor helping leaders bring organizations into alignment in support of a shared vision, management directives, competitive strategy and greater profitability.
As a consultant, Michael has more than 20 years of experience working with leaders, managers and teams from government, Fortune 500 businesses, entrepreneurs, non-profit organizations and Chambers of Commerce. Clients include the Department of Energy, the Department of Navy, Boeing, Ford, Microsoft, AT&T, Costco and many more.
In addition to his extensive field experience, Michael has more than 20 years of experience as an adjunct professor teaching graduate level strategy, policy, project, operations and service management. He currently teaches at the University of Washington Bothell. He is also a member of the Seattle Chapter of SCORE where he serves as a small business mentor and Co-Chair of Community Outreach and Engagement.
After serving in the United States Navy, he earned a BS in Finance and Industrial Relations from Central Washington University, and MBA in Operations Management from the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University, and a post graduate Masters Certificate in Project Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology. In addition, he has earned professional certificates in TQM, Six Sigma, LEAN, TOC, Agile, ITIL and Business Process Management.
