Drainage Sense Pro Workshop 2018

This workshop is planned, funded and organized by Clean Water Kitsap. Clean Water Kitsap partnering agencies include: Kitsap County Public Works Stormwater Division, WSU Kitsap Extension, Kitsap Public Health, and Kitsap Conservation District. The workshop will be held October 18, 2018 from 8:30-4:30 at the Silverdale Water District, 5300 NW Newberry Hill Road, #100 Silverdale, WA 98383. 

 

Purpose:

• Educate industry professionals to address stormwater runoff challenges on private property with the goal of reducing water pollution and property damage.

• Feature solutions to common drainage problems and provide the latest permitting guidelines.

• Increase capacity for landscape and other contractors to prevent, reduce or solve drainage problems on residential and small commercial properties.

• Create a list of trained professionals as a courtesy for homeowners and small business owners who need assistance with drainage problems. 

 

Desired Audience:

• Landscapers and related green industry professionals

• Onsite sewage system designers and installers

• General contractors
