You're invited to bring an item to donate to the evening'sraffle that best represents your business and the New Years Resolution you've made for it in 2018.
  • Perhaps there is a new plant you want to feature in your designs? Share your inspiration by bringing one to raffle!
  • Resolving to update your tools? Donate a new set of pruners so others can update theirs too!
  • Inspired by art? Bring in some art that represents to you the renewed sense of opportunityin the spring air!
  • These are just a few suggestions to get the ideas flowing!
Don't forget to bring some cash for your fair share of raffle tickets and additional wine pours as well.

Nicole started working for Sunnyside Nursery in January 2014 and applied because she loved gardening and wanted to play in the dirt. Due to her background and marketing degree, she quickly got moved into the office into the marketing position.

Since starting with Sunnyside, she has helped overhaul the website, improved SEO, helped coordinate and increase social media efforts, better defined the Sunnyside brand, and helped to target new demographic groups.

Being in a small business allows and requires her to wear a lot of different hats - marketing, advertising, office manager, personal assistant, HR, IT, hiring, aiding in company-wide communication, restructure, scheduling/coordinating outside speakers, classes, events and donations.

Trisha Gaffney,

Kitchen and Bath Designer

Trisha holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego and an
Associates of Fine Arts in Interior Design degree from Bellevue College.

In addition, she earned an
associate kitchen and bath designer certification through the National Kitchen and Bath Association.
She works all over the Puget Sound region specializing in kitchen and bath design and whole house
remodels.

She has designed several award-winning spaces and has been published numerous times in
425 magazine.

Jeff Leonard
Dawg StarCannabis

Master Grower and
Production Manager

Jeff is a graduate of Edmonds Community College Horticulture program and became a Certified Nurseryman in 1991, and is nowa Certified Professional Horticulturist. Jeff was one of the first to be certified as an Eco Pro-Certified Sustainable Landscape Professional.

Jeff has served the WSNLA as Seattle Chapter President (two terms), Treasurer, State Director, rose toChair of the Certification Board, andis currently enjoyingserving on the Scholarship and Charitable Grant Board.

Over the past 30 years, Jeff has worked for Molbaks, Ragen and Associates, DM Ohashi Landscape Services, Bamboo Gardens, and The Tropical Butterfly House in the Pacific Science Center.

Jeff is currently the Master Grower/Production Manager for Dawg Star Cannabis,and has been for the past 4 years! Dawg Star Cannabis is a Tier2 Producer Processor located in SODO, here in Seattle

Mark Leichty
Little Prince of Oregon

Director of Business
Development

Mark is currently the Director of Business Development at Little Prince of Oregon Nursery, a wholesale grower of perennial plants and groundcovers near Portland Oregon. He has designed 7 award winning booths at the Farwest Nursery Show.

He is a 'certified' plant geek who enjoys visiting beautiful gardens and garden centers searching for rare and unique plants to satisfy his plant lust.

He was recently hired by GIE Media to write a monthly column in Nursery Management Magazine called the Green Guide. He has also written feature stories for other publications including Garden Center Magazine. He writes a weekly blog for Little Prince of Oregon.
