Guided by McMenamin's Horticulturist, Riz Reyes.
McMenamin's pubs, restaurants, breweries, and hotels have become known for their extensive gardens developed at their larger properties in Oregon and one garden being in Washington (at theAnderson School in Bothell). These gardens reflect the eclectic and unique charm that's represented in each of their historic properties. This is achieved by designing intimate and inspiring spaces that guests are free to wander and explore. McMenamin's horticulturist, Through collaborative efforts from their highly skilled and knowledgeable garden staff, the gardens are created with an intention to please the senses while showcasing plant diversity and site-appropriate planting schemes. Many challenges come with such extensive gardens, however. From constant disturbance by guests to highly destructive wildlife, the gardens must remain open and accessible to the public at all times as part of the whole experience as guest enjoy all the other amenities McMenamin's has to offer.
