Did you know that Seattle Pacific University has 12 trees that are the largest of their species in Seattle, and 6 of those are champion trees for the state of Washington? Scott Baker, owner of Tree Solutions, Inc. will guide our group while informing us about SPU’s tree health care plan that protects and cultivates SPU's trees. He will highlight challenges and solutions that have been experienced during his tenure of caring for these trees since 2000.

Tree Lab Meeting Location & Time: Participants should plan to meet at 9:15am at "The Arch", which is located at the main entrance where 3rd Ave West and West Cremona street come together. It is easily distinguishable by the brick columns and connecting metal arch with Seattle Pacific University written across the top. There is a parking lot just across the street where people can park for free during summer months. Seattle Pacific University's campus grounds staff will be on hand to answer and address questions, as well.
