FREE WORKSHOP: This workshop includes a turf pest overview, historical timeline of European Chafer, how to sample and determine threshold, lessons learned from our Canadian neighbors, management of European Chafer, and discussion on research needs and educational priorities for the new pest introduction. This workshop includes an onsite field demonstration of an infested field. CPH, ecoPRO Credit Available. WSDA Pesticide Recert Credit Pending.

Sampling and threshold determination demonstration

Dr. Chris Looney, Washington State Department of Agriculture

 

Dr. Looney will demonstrate how to sample and determine thresholds for European Chafer during an outside demonstration located across the street from the facility
