Conifers are important players in the native and planted landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. This class will review the details that distinguish key genera and species, and their natural adaptations, growth characteristics, and plant health issues. We will explore the Arboretum to look at some of the older distinguished specimens in the collections and discuss the qualities of newer selections and cultivars.
