We’re making plans for 2010, and we know you are, too. The enclosed items will help both of us make the most of your marketing plans. Please read the materials over carefully and respond as indicated. WSNLA has several great opportunities for you for 2010. WSNLA members get discounted advertising rates, and you’ll notice the Retail/Landscape Locator Guide is exclusively for members. What a great benefit!

Be aware of each publication’s deadline, as they differ from one another.

B&B Magazine
Our popular monthly magazine offers timely, practical and thought-provoking information about WSNLA and our industry. Our magazine is printed each month and is distributed electronically, as well. You may advertise on a monthly or long-term basis. Circulation: 1600.

Members receive one spot color at no additional cost, and non-members at 15% of ad cost. 4-color ads add an additional $60 for members, and $100 for non-members.
Frequency Discounts:
6% for 12x insertion, 4% for 6x insertion. Members receive special placement (editor's choice) with 12x frequency. Advertiser's with 12x frequency receive 1 month full color at no additional cost.
Classified Ads:
$25 for first 10 words, 20 cents per additional word. Limit of 300 words. Blind ads may be inserted at an extra $5 per insertion. Replies will be mailed to the advertiser.
Deadline:
Space reservation and ad copy must be provided by the 10th of each month prior to publication.


The Locator Guide
This full color glossy booklet
debuts at the Northwest Flower & Garden Show, and is also distributed by mail, local PUDs, member businesses, and at various garden shows. The popular Locator Guide combines all Washington retail and landscape members in an attractive guide that is a handy year-round resource for the buying public. Draw attention to your free listing by choosing to take advantage of advertising. This is an excellent advertising opportunity for retail nurseries, garden centers and landscape services members to reach their specific target audience. Circulation: 16,000.

Web Advertising
Highlight your buyer’s guide listings. Put your business in the spotlight with a banner ad on the new WSNLA public website. The WSNLA websites receive a combined average of 90,000 hits in a single month. That’s an average of 3000 hits per day. Think about the visibility your company will gain. Conference Sponsorship
Sponsorships are among the things that make the WSNLA’s annual convention such a great success. This 2-day event is held the second weekend of January. Attendees are treated to industry seminars and tours. Attendee demographics fall primarily at the 35-65-age range, with pre-event marketing focusing on industry publications and events, as well as the WSNLA website. Attendees are educated industry professionals and business owners, trendsetters looking for new plants and products. They come to convention to seek information to better their business and their personal knowledge. They are your customers

All Sponsors receive:

  • Logo Presence – Your logo will be on all promo material – pre-event, at the event and in the wrap-up literature. This means that your name will reach at least 1600 industry professionals.
  • Media Exposure – In website, magazine, e-mail notices and printed circulars, your name will be credited as a sponsor.
  • Program Credits – Besides the promo materials, your logo will be displayed on all event programs, fact sheets and locator maps.
  • VIP Badges – Sponsors receive acknowledgement on their convention name badge.
